What You'll Work Across: Formwork & Forming Pouring & Casting Polishing & Sealing Joinery & Fitting Pre-fitting & Install Finish & Detail Work The Role Hit The Ground Running — Then Lead The Way You'll be hands-on from day one — forming up complex furniture and bench formworks, pivoting across roles as project demands shift, and bringing genuine skill to every task. Over time, you'll grow into a person the Director can depend on: someone who guides others, meets workshop goals, and upholds the standards that Set In Steel is known for. What We Require Demonstrated experience constructing and installing complex projects such as formworks and joinery Current Driver's Licence (essential for site deliveries and installations) White Card (Construction Induction Training) — current and valid Physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding workshop and site work Ability to pivot between roles — pouring, polishing, sealing, joinery, and installation Sharp attention to detail with the skill to deliver flawless project finishes Professional, courteous conduct at all times — on the floor and on-site Willingness to follow established systems, processes, and standards without compromise Proven ability to work independently and as a contributing team member The judgment to know when to ask for guidance — and the ambition to eventually provide it Tickets, Trade Skills & Certifications Required credentials : Driver's Licence, White Card Highly desirable: Concrete Trade Experience, Forklift Licence (LF), Carpentry / Joinery, Cert III Construction, First Aid, Stonemason Who You Are The Character Behind The Craft Self-Driven You actively invest in your own growth.
