Trainer & Assessor – Security Operations, First Aid, White Card & RSA Perth, Western Australia Casual / Contract / Part-Time Opportunities About Us We are a newly established Registered Training Organisation (RTO) currently progressing through initial VET and CRICOS registration. Our organisation is preparing to deliver nationally recognised training programs within the security, safety, and workplace compliance sectors across Western Australia. We are seeking qualified and industry-experienced Trainers & Assessors to join our growing team and assist in delivering high-quality training to domestic and international students. Applicants who are adaptable and willing to support both training delivery and administrative/compliance functions will be highly regarded. Courses to Be Delivered Successful applicants may be engaged to deliver one or more of the following nationally recognised courses: CPP20218 Certificate II in Security Operations Certificate III in Security Operations HLTAID011 Provide First Aid HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) CPCWHS1001 Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card) SITHFAB021 Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Key Responsibilities Training & Assessment Duties Deliver engaging and compliant face-to-face training sessions Conduct assessments in accordance with training package and RTO requirements Maintain accurate training and assessment documentation Support student progression and learning outcomes Participate in validation, moderation, and continuous improvement activities Ensure training delivery complies with the Standards for RTOs 2025 and ASQA requirements Maintain a professional, inclusive, and supportive learning environment Administration & Compliance Support Duties Assist with student enrolments and onboarding processes Maintain attendance records and assessment tracking Upload and manage training records within the student management system (SMS/LMS) Assist with maintaining trainer and student files Support compliance documentation and audit preparation activities Communicate with students regarding scheduling, assessments, and course requirements Assist with training resource preparation and classroom coordination Participate in continuous improvement and administrative team activities Essential Requirements Vocational Competency & Industry Experience Applicants must demonstrate current industry skills and hold relevant vocational competencies in the areas they deliver. Security Operations Trainers Relevant Security Operations qualification (Certificate II or higher) Current Western Australian Security Licence Recent industry experience within the security sector First Aid / CPR Trainers Current HLTAID qualifications Experience delivering accredited First Aid and CPR training Current CPR and First Aid currency White Card Trainers CPCWHS1001 qualification Relevant construction industry experience RSA Trainers SITHFAB021 Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol Hospitality industry experience preferred Training & Assessment Requirements Applicants must hold one of the following: TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment OR TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment with required upgrades OR Equivalent qualification meeting current regulatory requirements Desirable Skills & Experience Previous RTO training experience Knowledge of ASQA compliance and VET standards Experience working with international students Strong administration and organisational skills Experience using Student Management Systems (SMS/LMS) Ability to manage both classroom and administrative responsibilities Strong communication and classroom management skills Flexibility to deliver evening or weekend classes where required Applicants qualified to deliver multiple courses will be highly regarded What We Offer Flexible working arrangements Competitive hourly rates Opportunity to grow with a new and expanding RTO Supportive and professional team environment Ongoing opportunities across multiple training programs Opportunity to contribute to the establishment and growth of a new RTO Remuneration Hourly rates between $55–$80 per hour depending on qualifications, industry experience, and scope of delivery responsibilities.
