Job Description Due to continued growth, Alltype Engineering is seeking an experienced Industrial Painter/TA for an Oil & Gas construction project in the Northern Territory . This position is based at a compressor station site and offers an ASAP start for the right candidate. This role is suited to a hands-on Industrial Painter who is also willing and prepared to undertake general labouring and Trade Assistant (TA) duties as required to support site activities. The role will work 11-hour days on a 3 weeks on / 1 week off roster , with FIFO arrangements from Perth (or other agreed capital city). Key Responsibilities: Touch-up painting using Jotamastic 90 and polyurethane acrylic coatings Mixing 2-pack epoxy coatings and monitoring pot life Taking measurements and accurately recording results in ITRs and following ITP requirements Ensuring surface preparation meets specification requirements Preparing surfaces using bristle blasters or coordinating with Trade Assistants Assisting with general labouring tasks as required on site Performing Trade Assistant duties to support construction and maintenance activities Maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant work environment at all times Qualifications & Experience: Demonstrated experience working as an Industrial Painter (trade qualification desirable) Experience working in Oil & Gas construction or maintenance environments Willingness to perform labouring and Trade Assistant duties as required Current Nationally Accredited OHS Card (White/Blue Card) Ability to pass a project-specific pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening High attention to detail and pride in quality of work Strong communication skills Excellent time management skills Ability to work effectively both within a team and unsupervised EWP and Working at Heights (Highly Regarded) Apply now to join Alltype Engineering and contribute to the successful delivery of a high-profile pipeline project.
