We’re looking for a passionate and organised Chef to join our St Albans centre and become an integral part of our community. Across Monday to Friday - flexible working hours for the right candidate! Your Purpose You’ll create healthy, balanced meals that fuel children’s development while fostering a love of food through positive, engaging experiences. Working alongside our educators, you’ll bring our Future Foodies program to life each day. You help shape children’s confidence, wellbeing and relationship with food. ️ Your Day-to-Day Plan and prepare fresh, nutritious meals and snacks Cater for dietary, medical, and cultural requirements Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant kitchen Manage ordering, stock, and budgets Collaborate with educators to enhance mealtime experiences Build strong relationships with children, families, and your team ✅ What You’ll Bring Experience in a Chef/Cook role (early learning or large-scale cooking advantageous) Paid WWCC Passion for child nutrition and wellbeing Knowledge of food safety, allergies, and dietary needs Confidence in menu planning aligned to nutritional guidelines Strong organisation and time management Why Join Journey Early Learning?
