Once operational, you’ll support the team by implementing effective service programs, monitoring behaviour and ratios, while building positive relationships with the children and their parents. You’ll be great in this role if you… (for Qualified Educator applicants) Hold an ACECQA approved Cert IV from a recognised institution in OSHC or a degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education/Teaching or equivalent (for Qualified Educator applicants) Have implemented programs for 4-to-12-year olds (for Assistant Educator applicants) Have a natural desire to help children develop and learn while kick-starting your career in the children services industry Love inspiring and educating primary school age children Can obtain a National Police Certificate and Working with Children card Can obtain the necessary First Aid certifications Our latest survey results: At the Y WA, we thrive on feedback and deeply value our people’s insights that drive positive change.
