Responsibilities Provide comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to women and their families. Monitor and assess maternal and fetal wellbeing throughout pregnancy and labour. Assist and manage normal deliveries, and support obstetric teams during complicated births. Offer emotional, educational, and physical support to mothers before, during, and after childbirth. Administer medications and treatments safely, including pain relief and emergency interventions. Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as fetal heart rate monitoring and routine screenings. Educate and counsel expectant and new mothers on pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and newborn care. Document and maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including obstetricians, nurses, and paediatricians, to ensure coordinated care. Promote best practice and evidence-based care, adhering to professional guidelines and organisational policies Requirements Minimum of 4 years of midwifery experience from one of the following countries: UK, Ireland, New Zealand, USA, Singapore, South Africa, Canada, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Oman, or Kuwait. Must hold current Midwifery registration with AHPRA or be eligible to apply for registration. Recent hands-on experience across birth suite, antenatal, and postnatal care settings. Demonstrated up-to-date midwifery skills and clinical knowledge. Evidence of training or certification in the following programs: FSEP (Fetal Surveillance Education Program) PROMPT (Practical Obstetric Multi-Professional Training) PPH (Postpartum Haemorrhage Management) Neo-Resus (Neonatal Resuscitation) Benefits One week of accommodation assistance provided in a self-serviced apartment upon arrival.
