Best Home Therapy are seeking a Community Occupational Therapist on the West/North side of Melbourne (Community only). About Best Home Therapy We’re a multidisciplinary allied health team known for our caring, client-centred approach. Our therapists provide home and community-based services across Melbourne, helping clients build skills, confidence, and independence. We value flexibility, communication, and excellence in care and we’re excited to welcome our next Occupational Therapist to the team. The Opportunity You’ll work primarily with HCP (Home Care Packages) & NDIS (mixed case load) with the option to support adult clients if desired. This role offers autonomy, professional variety, and the support of a multidisciplinary team. You’ll provide functional, evidence-based interventions that improve communication, feeding, and participation in everyday life. What You’ll Bring · A degree in Occupational Therapy and current Ahpra registration · Minimum two years’ experience as a Occupational Therapist in Australia · Police Check, NDIS Workers Screening Check & Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain) · Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle · A caring, proactive personality and a passion for working with children and families What You’ll Do · Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy in homes, schools, and community settings · Support clients with communication, feeding goals in a functional, engaging way · Collaborate with families, support coordinators, and other allied health professionals · Empower clients through education, advocacy, and skill-building
