Our client is seeking experienced and dealer-trained Motor Mechanics and Auto Electricians, for full-time positions based in Wollongong, NSW. We are looking for candidates with hands-on experience working across a range of vehicles, including European and Japanese light vehicles, as well as 4WDs. Key Responsibilities: Service and maintain vehicles to manufacturer specifications Diagnose, overhaul, repair, and test diesel, petrol, electric and gas-powered vehicles Repair and replace engine management and fuel injection components Trace and resolve diagnostic fault codes Repair electrical systems, including: Lighting, Instrumentation, Ignition, Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) Dismantle and rebuild engines, transmissions and steering components Perform brake adjustments and laser wheel alignments Conduct test drives to ensure repair quality Carry out general maintenance and component replacement Ideal Candidates Will Have: A current Trade Certificate (Motor Mechanic / Auto Electrician or equivalent) Minimum 1 year of relevant full-time experience Strong skills in diagnostics and fault tracing Experience working with Japanese/European vehicles, 4WDs, or trucks Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment OEM or manufacturer training (highly regarded) Strong communication and teamwork skills These are Full-time permanent roles.
