This role will be responsible for overseeing and executing the capital project plan at the Kwinana Pigment Plant. Primary Responsibilities: Coordinating and administering the 5-year capital plan and delivery of project outcomes via effective management of Project Managers Ensures each project team has project success criteria for each stage of the project and coordinates site gate approvals throughout the Innovation and Investment Process (stage-gate process) Provides technical assistance to Project Managers to develop scopes of work Maintains the site project portfolio up-to-date with supporting business cases Proactively manages changes in scope, schedule, budget or resources Develops executive reports outlining the progress of the Site capital project portfolio on a monthly basis Engages and manages external consultants and contractors as required to meet capital plan requirements Interface with the Operations to ensure all projects are effectively scoped, scheduled, executed and operational ready Provides suitable technical support from within the department, or via external consultants to all departments in response to portfolio requirements Contribute to sites management of change process and operational readiness processes, providing input into the risk assessment processes to ensure programs/projects are adequately assessed and address insurability issues Actively support best practice sharing across the region and globe About You Preferred candidates will have: Degree qualified in relevant discipline (Mechanical, Instrument/Electrical) 8 years project management experience in Brownfield type projects Experience of managing multi-disciplinary project teams. Ability to manage budgets to meet project objectives Advanced user of EPPM tool (PlanView) (Desirable) SAP and Coupa user (Desirable) Relevant Engineering experience within the Chemical sector or related industry preferred Good written and verbal communication and presentation skills, strong ability to engage and influence others Strong impact and influencing skills Why Join Tronox?
