No prior experience is required. Our expert in-house trainers will support you through a fully paid training program , upgrading you to a Medium Rigid (MR) licence if you don’t already have one. Once qualified, you’ll play an important role in delivering safe, reliable, and sustainable bus services, including urban routes, school services, and rail replacement operations. Why join Transdev? • Comprehensive paid training program (up to four weeks, Monday – Friday), tailored to your experience level • Starting base hourly rate of $35.04 (permanent) post-training • Weekly pay cycle • Uniform provided • Overtime opportunities • Access to paid parental leave, discounted private health insurance, the Maxxia Rewards Program, gym subsidy and an Employee Assistance Program • Automatic, air-conditioned fleet of electric buses What you bring • Full Australian working rights (Australian citizen or permanent resident) • A current Australian “C” class open car licence for at least three years in total (Australian or overseas) • Ability to obtain a Queensland Government Driver Authorisation • A good driving history including: o No more than four demerit points in the past three years o No licence suspension or good behaviour period in the past three years (excluding State Penalty Enforcement Registry suspensions) • Excellent communication and customer service skills • A strong focus on safety • Adaptability to achieve schedule requirements and variations • Availability from Monday to Saturday with preparedness to work a roster which includes straight shifts, split shifts, and relief shifts.
