Job description Night Shift Cleaner - Luxury Resort Environment Location: Yarra Glen VIC 3775 Pay Rate: $33.38 per hour (casual) night shift allowance Shifts: Minimum 3 nights per week , 11:00pm - 6:00am About the Role A premium resort in Yarra Glen is seeking a reliable and self‑motivated Night Shift Cleaner to join their team. This is an autonomous position suited to someone who is comfortable working independently in a quiet, isolated environment. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the resort's public areas overnight. This role requires someone who can start immediately due to short‑term staffing needs, with ongoing 3‑day‑per‑week work available. Key Responsibilities Clean and maintain public areas including the restaurant, function spaces, bathrooms, gym, and admin areas Vacuum and mop floors using backpack and cordless vacuums Lock up the restaurant at 11pm and secure the venue before commencing cleaning duties Assist with occasional guest requests or late check‑ins (rare) Work independently overnight, problem‑solve, and contact security/emergency wardens if required What We're Looking For Ability to work autonomously and confidently during night shifts Reliable, positive attitude and willingness to learn Comfortable interacting with guests when needed and presenting professionally Comfortable working in an isolated resort environment with minimal supervision Additional Information Minimal training provided - ideal for a self‑starter One cleaner on duty per night Uniform polo and security button provided Potential for additional shifts to cover annual leave periods
