About the role We’re seeking an experienced People & Culture Manager with strong commercial acumen to partner with senior leaders across assigned business units and embed people strategies that directly support business performance. Reporting to the Director - People and Culture, this role operates as a true business partner, working alongside executives to understand commercial priorities, revenue drivers and growth ambitions, and translate these into practical organisation design, talent and capability activities. Key Responsibilities Act as a trusted advisor to executives and leaders, contributing to decisions that balance commercial performance with cultural impact Translate business strategy and growth plans into clear people objectives Use people metrics, insights and commercial judgement to guide leaders on structure, capability, succession and people decisions Drive talent and retention strategies that protect intellectual property, uplift performance and support long‑term growth Coach leaders on people performance Lead complex employee relations matters with a pragmatic, risk‑aware and commercial mindset Support organisational change initiatives with a clear focus on outcomes, adoption, communication and business impact This is a full‑time, in‑office role based in Warriewood on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. About you You are a commercially minded, confident People & Culture leader who enjoys being close to the business and influencing outcomes. You bring: Strong business partnering experience with senior leaders, in complex or fast‑moving environments Strong understanding of Australian employment law and employee relations An ability to influence, coach and challenge constructively An ability to quickly grasp business priorities, operational pressures and how people decisions influence sustainable growth Confidence challenging leaders constructively using data, insight and sound judgement A pragmatic, solutions‑focused approach to change and complexity Comfort using people data to tell a story and drive action Experience with budget and headcount management Comfortable with rolling your sleeves up Experience in FMCG, health, wellness or pharmaceuticals, as well as exposure to multi‑regional teams will be well regarded.
