We are partnering with a global organisation to identify a highly experienced Chief Underwriter / Senior Claims Underwriter to support at a strategic level on an initial 3-month contract. This role is suited to someone who can step beyond day-to-day processing and operate as a senior subject matter expert, contributing to governance, best practice, and executive-level decision making. About the role: Prepare and deliver Board packs and executive reporting Provide expert advice across Life Insurance (TPD, IP, CI) Support strategic initiatives and business improvement Advise on industry best practice and governance frameworks Contribute to complex decision-making and risk assessment About you: Deep Life Insurance knowledge (TPD, IP, CI) Ability to operate at a strategic level Board exposure, including preparation and communication Strong understanding of industry best practice & governance This would suit someone operating as a: Top-end Senior Underwriter Head of Underwriting / Chief Underwriter Senior Claims / Underwriting SME Details: 3-month contract (potential to extend) Melbourne CBD (hybrid) $1,000 – $1,400 per day Super (negotiable) If this is of interest, please apply or feel free to reach out for a confidential discussion.
