The Role We’re seeking a highly capable Regulatory Reporting Senior Accountant to join our Regulatory Reporting team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing and reviewing regulatory reports and supporting financial statements, ensuring compliance with APRA reporting standards and broader regulatory requirements. You’ll play a key role in maintaining a strong control environment, partnering with stakeholders across the business, and contributing to improvements in reporting processes, systems, and data quality. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, review, and lodge regulatory returns and other required reports, including statutory surveys and disclosures Support regulatory reporting uplift initiatives, including alignment to evolving standards, metadata, and validation requirements Contribute to the preparation of annual financial statements and internal reporting packs Maintain reporting calendars, workflows, and documentation to ensure timely and accurate submissions Reconcile regulatory returns to the general ledger, administration systems, and investment-related data sources Validate and analyse data from internal teams and external providers to ensure accuracy and consistency Strengthen control frameworks, including validation rules, documentation, and audit-ready workpapers Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Compliance, Technology, and external service providers Support audit processes, regulatory information requests, and governance forums Drive continuous improvement through process optimisation, automation, and participation in system and reporting change initiatives About You You’re a detail-oriented and commercially minded professional who thrives in a complex regulatory environment. You bring strong technical expertise, a proactive mindset, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. Key Requirements: CA or CPA qualification Significant experience in regulatory reporting (Big 4 or professional services background preferred) Strong knowledge of accounting standards and APRA regulatory frameworks Advanced Excel and data analysis skills Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines Highly Regarded: Experience in superannuation, investment accounting, or broader financial services Exposure to regulatory change, transformation, or system implementation initiatives How To Apply To apply online, please click on the appropriate link below.
