About the Role An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced and driven Technical Sales Manage r to join a well‑established and forward‑thinking organisation operating within the commercial automatic doors and architectural hardware sector. This role will work to deliver high‑quality, consultative sales outcomes across commercial projects. You’ll be responsible for managing the full sales lifecycle—from lead generation and estimating through to site engagement and technical presentations—while building long‑term relationships with fabricators, builders, architects, and end users. Duties Estimate and quote automatic door packages for fabricators, builders, and end users Monitor tender portals and proactively generate new sales leads Manage and follow up sales enquiries and quotation requests Conduct site visits with technicians, consultants, or customers as required Liaise with subcontractors, tradespeople, and suppliers to support project delivery Undertake site measurements and assess site conditions Specify architectural hardware into commercial construction projects Present technical and product information to architects, builders, fabricators, glaziers, and customers Manage sales activity exclusively within the commercial sector (no residential work) Skills & Experience Strong work ethic with a proactive, “can‑do” attitude and willingness to learn Demonstrated commitment to customer service and building long‑term client relationships High attention to detail and accuracy in estimating and documentation Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications Mechanical and electrical aptitude Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) Experience using estimating software packages Prior experience in automatic doors or architectural hardware is highly regarded Applicants from technical sales or estimation backgrounds (electrical, glazing, fabrication, mechanical, etc.) are strongly encouraged to apply About the Company This organisation is a respected specialist within the commercial automatic doors and access solutions industry, delivering high‑quality, reliable systems to builders, architects, and commercial end users.
