We’re now looking for an experienced bus operations professional to support service delivery across our Region 9 depots (Waverley, Port Botany, Randwick). About the role As a Regional Duty Officer, you’ll work alongside Depot Service Delivery Managers to help coordinate daily operations, manage disruptions, and ensure reliable service delivery across multiple depots. This is a hands‑on, trusted role with real operational responsibility – ideal for someone ready to step beyond driving or dispatch. You’ll: Support daily service delivery, staffing coverage and operational coordination Assist with incident response, disruptions and special events Act as a key point of contact when managers are off‑site Monitor compliance with attendance, safety and operational standards Provide practical depot support when required About you You’ll bring: Proven experience in NSW bus operations (operations, driving, dispatch or coordination) Strong understanding of compliance, fatigue and operational requirements Calm decision‑making in fast‑moving environments Confidence working independently across shifts MR licence (or higher) and relevant certifications preferred (First Aid, TLIF0006) Experience with PTIPS, VDS, HASTUS or similar systems will be highly regarded Why join us Clear pathway into broader operational leadership roles Exposure to regional‑level service delivery Rotating shifts with advance rostering and penalty rates Permanent, stable role in a critical transport operation Australian permanent residency or citizenship required.
