Job description Senior Procurement Contract Specialist Long-term 12 month contract on a major mining project Perth CBD project offices with flexible work arrangements Lead high-value procurement and contract activities across a complex project environment Role Opportunity An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Procurement Contract Specialist to join a major mining project team based in Perth. This role will see you managing end-to-end procurement and contract activities, building strong supplier and contractor relationships, and supporting project delivery through effective commercial management. You will play a key role in driving procurement strategy, identifying cost-saving initiatives, managing commercial risk, and contributing to continuous improvement across procurement processes and systems. Benefits 12 month contract with potential for extension Flexible working arrangements available Perth CBD office location Opportunity to work on a large-scale mining project Essential Qualifications & Skills Degree qualification in Procurement, Commerce, Business or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience Strong experience in procurement and contract management within the resources sector Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage supplier and contractor relationships Strong understanding of procurement systems, processes and commercial tools Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across multidisciplinary teams Duties and Responsibilities Manage end-to-end procurement and contract activities for project packages Evaluate supplier proposals and quotations to support commercial decision-making Negotiate commercial terms and maintain strong supplier relationships Identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure procurement objectives and deadlines are achieved How to Apply Click the APPLY button or contact Matt Erceg on (08) 6467 0658 for a confidential discussion.
