In this strategic role, you will act as the face of the brand in Sydney, blending technical consultation with proactive sales as you cultivate high-value relationships with architects, interior designers, and distributors to secure prestigious project opportunities across both luxury residential and large-scale commercial applications. Key Responsibilities Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities within the commercial and high-end residential architectural sectors. Cultivate and maintain deep, long-term partnerships with a network of specialist distributors and design practices across Sydney. Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement future growth plans while identifying emerging market trends. Act as a specialist advisor to architects and designers, providing technical insights to ensure lighting solutions meet both aesthetic and regulatory requirements. Manage the end-to-end sales lifecycle, from initial specification and quoting through to project delivery and post-sales support. Attend industry events and networking functions to maintain a high-profile presence for the brand within the local design scene. Skills & Experience Demonstrated experience in a sales or business development role within the architecture and design industry. A background in lighting, architecture, or a relevant technical trade is highly desirable for this technical product range. Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate complex details to a design-focused audience. An existing network of contacts within Sydney’s leading architectural and interior design firms. A results-driven mindset with the ability to manage a pipeline and hit revenue targets without compromising on service quality. A proactive self-starter who can manage their own diary and travel while remaining an integral part of the wider team.
