About the Position: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis. This role is essential in delivering high-quality breakfast and lunch offerings while playing a key part in the development and execution of our expanding Filipino-inspired menu. The Cook will contribute to maintaining kitchen efficiency, consistency in food quality and presentation, and upholding the highest food safety standards in our fast-paced café environment, directly supporting Xpresso Café’s reputation and ongoing growth in the Lara community. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of café-style breakfast and lunch dishes according to established recipes and quality standards Assist in the preparation and implementation of Filipino-inspired menu items Ensure consistency in taste, portion control, and presentation of all dishes Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen in compliance with food safety regulations Monitor stock levels, assist with stock rotation, and support ordering processes while minimising food wastage Collaborate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service operations Assist in training and supporting junior kitchen staff where required Perform duties efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality standards Requirements: Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
