With a strong pipeline of telecommunications projects, we are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Network Planner to support our growing operations. Salary Range: $90,000 to $100,000 plus superannuation (depending upon experience & skills) Role: Full time Location: Pemulwuy, NSW Main responsibilities ·Plan and design telecommunications networks across multiple NBN technologies including FTTP, FTTN, FTTC, and HFC ·Analyse network requirements, capacity, and coverage to support broadband service delivery and infrastructure expansion ·Conduct site surveys and feasibility assessments for telecommunications network installations ·Develop and interpret network design plans, schematics, and cable layouts for fibre and copper networks ·Plan fibre optic routes, cable pathways, and equipment placement in line with project specifications ·Coordinate with engineers, field teams, and civil contractors to ensure timely and efficient project delivery ·Perform and support activities such as fibre splicing, jointing, and cable hauling where required ·Maintain accurate network documentation, field records, and technical reports ·Liaise with stakeholders to resolve design, planning, and operational issues ·Support continuous improvement in network planning processes, operational efficiency, and project delivery. ·Ensure all network planning and installation activities comply with Australian telecommunications standards and safety regulations. Qualifications & Skills ·Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field. ·Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in telecommunications network planning and NBN-related projects. ·Strong experience in NBN technologies including FTTB, FTTC, FTTN, HFC, and fibre deployments. ·Demonstrated ability in network planning, design, and field coordination. ·Proficiency in interpreting and producing network design drawings, schematics, and cable routing plans. ·Strong stakeholder coordination skills, including working with engineers, contractors, and project teams. ·Experience with network planning tools, GIS systems, and design software used in telecommunications projects.
