As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and passionate Head Chef/Chef with expertise in Indo-Chinese cuisine to lead our kitchen operations and maintain the high standards our customers love. Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 per annum Role: Full-time Location: Harris Park, NSW 2150 Key Responsibilities: ·Plan, prepare, and cook a wide variety of Indo-Chinese dishes, ensuring authentic flavours, high-quality presentation, and consistency across all servings. ·Innovate and refine menu offerings by introducing new Indo-Chinese fusion dishes while preserving traditional favourites. ·Collaborate with restaurant management to develop seasonal and promotional menus, taking into account customer preferences, food trends, and profitability. ·Monitor customer feedback and dining trends to continuously improve dish offerings, presentation, and service quality, enhancing overall customer satisfaction ·Manage day-to-day kitchen operations in a busy dining environment, ensuring timely service during peak hours. ·Maintain consistency in portion control, cooking techniques, and ingredient quality to uphold the restaurant’s culinary standards. ·Control inventory, manage stock rotation, place supplier orders, and minimize food wastage in line with cost management practices. ·Supervise, train, and coordinate kitchen staff to maintain efficiency, hygiene, and a collaborative team environment. ·Maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency at all times. ·Ensure full compliance with Australian food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations, always maintaining a clean and safe kitchen. Skills & Qualifications: ·Minimum three years of experience as a Chef, with a strong focus on Indian Chinese fusion cuisine. ·Minimum Certificate IV in Cookery or a related qualification. ·Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, menu planning, and ingredient selection. ·Understanding of Australian food safety regulations and compliance requirements. ·Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. ·Excellent time management and multitasking skills. ·Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
