Our client is an established general practice located in Sydney's Western suburbs and is looking for a Family Lawyer to join their team. This role can be based in the Bella Vista office or Gosford office (the role requires the candidate to service Gosford based clients 2 or 3 days per week from this location). We are seeking a Family Lawyer (minimum 3 years plus PAE) who is confident and an ethical advocate , experienced in running a file with limited supervision, conducting client consultations, appearing in Court and in Mediations . You will utilize your expertise to navigate clients through this delicate area of family and estate law , producing the best outcome for them. You will work closely with the principal for the firm. You will have: · Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills · The ability to form long-standing relationships with clients · Able to work independently on simple family law matters and co-operatively on more complex family law matters · Be well presented, strong attention to detail · Strong work ethic · Excellent time management skills · In-depth understanding of Family Law Act and practice and procedures · Ability to work on multiple matters under the direction of a senior lawyer · Be able to draft documents from Consent Orders to Binding Financial Agreements and Child Support Agreements · Ability to brief Counsel for interim and final hearings · Be able to assist in attending mediations What on offer to you: · Be supported and resourced to achieve great outcomes for your clients , you will have access to paralegal and secretaries and the knowledge/ support of senior staff members. · You will have the opportunity to shine and grow within with real career opportunities within the firm. · An attractive, competitive salary package ($95,000 - $140,000) is on offer based upon candidate’s experience .
