Location : Burnie Pay Rate: $50-55/hr Position Description: As a member of the HRV Product Safety and Compliance Team you will support the HRV Sales and Marketing Teams in gaining market access to new and existing world markets for our existing product line and for New Product being developed. The role will also support the Product Development Teams by assisting with interpretation of World Standards and Guideline under the guidance of both local and Corporate Product Safety & Compliance Safety experts to arrive at safe, practical, compliant designs. The position will focus on leading projects testing for Compliance to applicable Standards and producing Compliance documentation and reports of a professional standard. It will require regular participation as part of New Product Introduction and Quality Improvement projects and may at times need to support in validation testing as well as compliance testing. In addition to providing this project leadership, this role will require that the candidate is familiar with machine systems and design and skilled in communication in order to consult with multiple areas of the business including other functional design areas, international team members, and agency staff members. Position Responsibilities: I n this role your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: - Be familiar with machine designs and systems - Lead Compliance Testing Projects at the Burnie Proving Grounds - Perform analysis and Calculations to determine testing scope, instrumentation requirements and standards compliance. - Collect and interpret test data including complex testing such as sound and vibration tests. - Consult with design and marketing teams both local and international - Produce Professional Reporting within stated guidelines - Apply strong discipline to filing of reports and information to established guidelines. - Manage project communications with team members, and other business unit Required Qualifications. - Degree (or equivalent) in an accredited Engineering curriculum. - Strong analytical skills and relevant industry experience. - Strong skills with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel. - Good communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills. - Ability to work in a team environment Desired Qualifications - Experience in Creo 3D modelling and VisMockup software. - Experience developing or validating products in the product line. - Experience with analysis software such as DatK and Matlab. - 6 Sigma Green Belt trained / certified.
