As an Architectural Draftsperson at EMO Civil, you will be responsible for preparing technical drawings, plans, and construction documentation to support civil and structural projects. This position requires strong technical drafting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers, project managers, and site teams. Responsibilities and Tasks: Preparing detailed architectural and construction drawings for excavation, drainage, landscaping, and civil infrastructure projects. Using CAD and BIM software including AutoCAD and Revit to create, update, and modify technical drawings and plans. Interpreting engineering specifications, sketches, and site measurements to produce accurate construction documentation. Ensuring drawings and documentation comply with the National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards, and local council requirements. Collaborating with engineers, project managers, contractors, and consultants to coordinate project design and documentation. Preparing material schedules, specifications, and documentation packages to support tendering and construction stages. Reviewing and revising drawings to reflect design updates, site conditions, and client requirements. Supporting project coordination by maintaining accurate drawing registers and ensuring documentation deadlines are met. Assisting with quantity take-offs and drafting support for project planning and estimation purposes. Maintaining organised project records and ensuring all design files are managed in accordance with company quality procedures. Qualifications and Skills: Relevant qualification. Minimum 1 year experience as an Architectural Draftsperson. Strong technical drafting and design skills using CAD software. Excellent understanding of construction methods, materials, and building regulations. Strong communication and organisational skills. High attention to detail and ability to work within project deadlines. Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000 - $90,000 p.a plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
