Roles Available: Heavy Road Transport Mechanic/Fitter Leading Hand About the Role: As a Heavy Road Transport Mechanic/Fitter , you’ll be responsible for servicing and maintaining our fleet of Kenworth Road Trains and Side Tipper Trailers operating across various remote mining locations. You'll work independently and as part of a tight-knit team, ensuring our transport assets are safe, reliable, and ready for anything. As a Leading Hand, you'll take charge to lead a team of HRT mechanics/fitters and an apprentice. This role is both leadership-focused and hands-on. You'll oversee daily operations, support your team and step in as a mechanic where required, to ensure everything runs smoothly. What do we want to hear from you? Valid Australian Trade Certificate White Card ( preferred ) HR Drivers Licence ( preferred ) 3–5 years’ Road Transport maintenance experience, preferably side tippers Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen Able to work independently and safely Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to process What's On Offer: Various FIFO Rosters Available to Port Hedland Flights paid from selected Australian capital cities Superannuation paid on all hours worked Fortnightly pay with newly revised, competitive hourly rate.
