Our client is seeking an experienced professional to deliver a portfolio of high-value Electrical, Instrumentation and Integration projects within a major mining operation. This is a FIFO from Queensland to PNG. The Role Full accountability for the end-to-end delivery of E&I and Integration projects, from concept through to commissioning and handover. This includes HV/LV power systems, switchgear, transformers, MCCs, PLC/DCS/SCADA systems, instrumentation, and communications infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Deliver projects across the full lifecycle: feasibility, design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover Develop and manage project plans including schedule, cost, risk and procurement strategies Manage contractors, suppliers and contract performance Lead design and constructability reviews and technical assurance processes Coordinate shutdowns, cutovers and brownfield integration works Track and report project performance (cost, schedule and forecasts) Ensure smooth operational handover including training, documentation and asset integration Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams Qualifications Degree in Electrical, Electrical & Electronic, or Control & Instrumentation Engineering Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 or similar) Experience 15 years’ experience in engineering and project delivery 8 years managing end-to-end E&I / automation / integration projects Proven delivery of projects valued at USD $50M Strong background in HV/LV infrastructure and brownfield environments Experience with major control systems (e.g. Rockwell, Siemens, ABB, Emerson, Honeywell) Background working with multicultural and remote workforce teams Working Conditions FIFO roster: 3 weeks onsite / 3 weeks offsite Site-based role: Papua New Guinea, Off site: QLD Remote working (Mon–Fri) during offsite period Challenging environment: tropical climate, high rainfall, remote location Availability required during shutdowns and critical project phases Pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol testing and work rights required Apply now if you’re ready to take ownership of major E&I project delivery in a challenging and rewarding environment.
