About the Role Bankstown Sports Club is seeking an experienced Operations Support Manager to join our leadership team in a large‑scale, high‑volume hospitality environment. This is a hands‑on role where you will act as the on‑shift escalation point, overseeing the smooth operation of our venue during trade. You will lead from the floor, manage risk, control venue flow, and support multiple departments including Food & Beverage, Gaming, Events, and Car Park operations. Reporting directly to the Senior Operations Managers, you will make real‑time operational decisions, lead large teams, and ensure service standards, safety, and compliance are met at all times. This role is ideal for experienced hospitality leaders or Venue Managers ready to step up into a complex, high‑volume operation. Key Responsibilities On‑shift escalation point for operational and customer issues Day‑to‑day operational management of a large, multi‑outlet venue Control floor flow and staffing during peak trade Lead and coordinate multiple departments on shift Reallocate staff and resources to meet business demands Manage contractors, including cleaning services Resolve difficult customer issues professionally and confidently Ensure compliance with RSA, RCG, WH&S, and emergency procedures Lead teams through high‑volume and fast‑paced service periods About You To succeed in this role, you will bring: Proven leadership experience in a high‑volume hospitality, food & beverage, or gaming environment Experience leading medium to large teams Strong resilience and productivity under pressure Confidence handling escalated and challenging customer situations Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions in real time Strong attention to detail and operational awareness Flexibility to work day, night, and weekend shifts Essential requirements: Current RSA and RCG (ARCG desirable) Senior First Aid qualification (or willing to obtain) Gaming experience is desirable but not essential.
