About the Role Support the delivery of a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents by providing high-quality cleaning and infection control services. You’ll play a key role in maintaining hygiene standards across resident rooms and communal areas, contributing to the comfort, dignity, and wellbeing of those in your care. No two days are the same! As a Cleaning Services Assistant, you will: Perform general cleaning across resident rooms, communal areas, bathrooms, and kitchens • Ensure all areas are cleaned and sanitised in line with infection control standards • Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment • Manage waste disposal and maintain cleaning supplies • Work collaboratively across teams to meet daily operational needs • Maintain a respectful and compassionate approach in residents’ home • Follow all WHS and organisational policies About You You’ll thrive with us if you have: • Experience in cleaning, hospitality, or food services (preferred but not essential) • A flexible and team-focused attitude with willingness to support across departments • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards • Good time management and organisational skills • A compassionate and respectful approach to aged care • Physical capability to meet the demands of the role • Knowledge of infection control practices (desirable) • A current National Police Check/NDIS or willingness to obtain one • A positive attitude and willingness to learn Perks & Benefits As a not-for-profit you can reduce your tax by salary packaging up to $15,900 per year for living expenses, bills, rent, mortgage and groceries.
