We have an exciting opportunity with one of our healthcare clients who is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to join their team for a 6 - 12 month contract in Brisbane. In this role, you will play a key part in driving the delivery of value for money through the design and implementation of best practice procurement methodologies. Responsibilities: Take on category and contract management to drive value, reduce risk, and improve performance Develop and deliver category strategies across key portfolios (e.g. medical equipment, ICT, facilities, medical catalogues etc.) Manage strategic sourcing initiatives including panels, aggregation, and standardisation Analyse spend and market data to identify savings and innovation opportunities Partner with clinical stakeholders to support patient-focused procurement decisions About You: Experienced & hands-on Procurement professional with strong commercial acumen within a large, complex organisation Positive, dynamic and proactive Procurement professional who is driven to solving problems and finding solutions Skilled in commercial negotiation, contract management, and supplier management Proven ability to deliver strategic sourcing and initiatives Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving capabilities Strong analytical & problem-solving capability Familiarity with Dynamics 365 and e-procurement systems ; ability to generate relevant data Committed to delivering positive outcomes via collaboration and partnership Our client is seeking a hands-on Procurement Specialist (not a mentor) who is willing to be actively involved in day-to-day tasks and mature enough to make informed decisions.
