The Role We are currently seeking a Team Leader – Design & Drafting, Rail & Metro, with proven experience managing teams and delivering on rail transport infrastructure projects across the industry to join our Brisbane office. The successful candidate will have a minimum 12 years’ experience in design or drafting and will provide support to lead and help manage team capability in the region and source business opportunities to support the ongoing activities of a leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy. Key Responsibilities Provide technical and leadership guidance across the team's portfolio Provide input to projects at a project management and/or review level to achieve reliable project performance in terms of both timeliness and quality Effective management and leadership of the team to ensure optimal performance, resourcing, retention, and professional development Provide input to the group business plan and implement the team's components of the plan About You Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Advanced Diploma Minimum 12 years’ industry experience Clear and effective communication skills with the ability to train junior employees Sound aptitude to prepare technical reports and prepare proposals for a range of projects A track record of achievement in a similar role and a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.
