Chelgrave Contracting Australia is chasing experienced Special Class Maintenance Fitters for night shift work on a large dairy manufacturing site in Melbourne’s south-east.
This is ongoing labour hire work on a busy production site — suits fitters who know food manufacturing and are comfortable working nights.
The Work
- Breakdown and preventative maintenance
- Pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, valves, rotating equipment
- Dairy processing & packaging machinery
- Supporting production to keep the plant running overnight
- Working safely in a food manufacturing environment
You Must Have - Trade-qualified Special Class Maintenance Fitter
- Post trade qualifications in fluid power highly desired
- Experience in dairy / food / FMCG manufacturing
- Strong breakdown and fault-finding skills
- Strong understanding and ability to fault find pneumatic driven machinery (fillers, cappers, case packers, etc)
- Able to work 12-hour night shifts on a continuous shift roster
- Good attitude, reliable, safety-focused
