As we continue to grow and support our customers with high-quality engineered solutions, we are seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join the team in the Mackay workshop. About the Role We are seeking a trade-qualified Boilermaker to join our mechanical workshop team based in Paget, Mackay, reporting directly to the Workshop Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of conveyor components in accordance with issued drawings, customer specifications, and company quality standards. This position offers a 4-day rostered work week, providing an excellent opportunity to achieve a strong work-life balance. Key Responsibilities Ensure components are fabricated and delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with agreed specifications Fabricate large conveyor components from profile cut and pre-cut steel in line with issued drawings and customer requirements Interpret and work from engineering drawings and technical documentation Assist with the diagnosis and fault-finding of mechanical equipment where required Support the planning and scheduling of workshop jobs to ensure efficient workflow and project delivery About You To be successful in this role, you will hold a trade qualification as a Boilermaker and have demonstrated experience in medium to heavy fabrication within an industrial environment. You will have the ability to accurately interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications, with a strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship. A current forklift licence, overhead crane, basic dogging or rigging ticket will be considered advantageous. The successful candidate will also be flexible and willing to work overtime when required.
