Project Manager – Luxury Residential Builder A highly regarded custom home builder specialising in architecturally designed residences is entering its next phase of growth. With larger, more complex homes entering construction, they are looking to introduce a Project Manager who strengthens delivery without disrupting the structure that already works. This role is due to growth within the business as projects increase in scale and detail, Site Managers need the ability to stay focused on leading their sites and managing trades day-to-day. This Project Manager steps in to: Protect programme Manage complex procurement Resolve technical challenges Tighten systems and delivery Own high-priority, time-sensitive tasks What Your Week Will Look Like You’ll operate across the full lifecycle of high-end custom builds: Early-Stage Involvement Review architectural documentation for buildability risks Assist with trade packaging and scope clarification Contribute to programme sequencing and procurement strategy Manage RFIs and documentation clarity before site commencement During Construction Support Site Managers with complex or time-critical issues Oversee procurement of bespoke and long-lead items (steel, windows, joinery, stone) Assist with programme reviews and look-ahead planning Support variation pricing and cost control Provide practical, technical solutions on site Completion & Post-Handover Coordinate defect resolution on completed projects Support structured handovers and close-outs Improve systems and consistency across projects What You Must Bring This is a carpentry-led construction environment. Technical credibility is essential. Certificate III in Carpentry (mandatory) Minimum 3 years on-site experience post-apprenticeship Background as a Working Foreman, Site Manager or similar Direct experience delivering custom homes valued at $2M Strong understanding of high-end residential detailing High level of computer literacy and system confidence Strong written communication skills Certificate IV in Building & Construction is advantageous.
