The Opportunity Join us as the Commercial Contract Manager on a Permanent Part Time basis, where you will act as the commercial lead across both project transition and business‑as‑usual (BAU) operations. You will maintain a deep understanding of contract requirements while driving strong governance, compliance, and commercial performance. Contract & Commercial Management Develop and maintain a deep understanding of contractual requirements, proactively managing all commercial, contractual, and compliance obligations Monitor and manage: Key deliverables and milestone obligations Owner and contractor responsibilities Critical risk areas and mitigation strategies Delivery timelines, SLAs, service credits, and termination rights Manage commercial issues including cost control, invoice accuracy, timely payment cycles, foreign exchange exposure, and savings opportunities Prepare, review, and support legal and commercial processes including variations, scope clarifications, third‑party flow‑downs, and formal change management Program & Project Support Act as a key member of the project transition team and ongoing BAU operating rhythm Engage with project teams on schedules, progress updates, upcoming tasks, and forward planning Coordinate government approvals, permits, logistics, and other compliance requirements where applicable Support procurement activities and manage third‑party engagements Stakeholder Engagement Maintain regular and effective communication with internal project teams, senior stakeholders, customers, and external partners Provide timely reporting, commercial insights, and risk/issue updates to ensure contract alignment and operational transparency Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration across Legal, Commercial, Procurement, Delivery, and Leadership teams What you'll bring to the role To be successful in this role, you will bring the following capabilities and experience: Have proven experience in commercial, contract, or procurement management experience in complex environments (ideally large‑scale or government‑related) Strong understanding of project and program management principles Knowledge of Work Health, Safety & Environment requirements Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and navigate differing viewpoints Strong capability across Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Telecommunications or technical infrastructure experience What We Offer Working at Vocus will give you rewarding experiences and the opportunity to do extraordinary work.
