Your Impact, with Us As the Telephonist you are the first point of contact by phone for all incoming telephone inquiries. The position answers general phone inquiries, responds to all patient inquiries redirecting these where appropriate, makes consult and test bookings, provides information to patients and undertakes a range of administration support tasks. This role is onsiste at our Burwood clinic. Key areas for the role: First point of telephone support for incoming patient bookings and enquiries Exceptional customer service support to patients Assistance to administrative team, Cardiologists and other stakeholders. What You’ll Bring To succeed in this role, you will have: Provide exemplary patient care at all times by welcoming patients in a friendly manner, answering incoming phone calls, and making associated bookings, ensuring that patients are fully prepared for and have consented to their consult or test, and that all administrative and billing requirements have been agreed to and completed in a timely and professional manner. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the HCP quality system by adhering to all HCP standards and procedures and completing all work and administrative tasks in accordance with quality standards. Actively participate in all team meetings and contribute to the growth of the business by following documented procedures, identifying and suggesting potential improvements to work processes, maintaining supportive and collaborative working relationships with colleagues, technical staff and management. Be aware of and comply with workplace health and safety requirements and maintain a safe working environment at all times. Your key working relationships: As the Telephonist, you need to develop strong relationships with the following internal parties: Medical Secretaries and Practice Managers Practice staff. In addition, you need to develop strong external relationships with various individuals/agencies/key stakeholders. Experience: Exceptional phone manner, communication skills and demonstrated competency in handling a range of customer enquiries. High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Proven experience to work effectively both independently and in a team environment. Demonstrated computer skills with ability to rapidly learn the relevant medical software. Relevant experience, training or qualifications in medical reception desirable It would be nice for you to have: Experience with Health Track software (or similar medical applications).
