About the Role Keks Projects Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our growing team. The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out a variety of carpentry and construction tasks across residential and commercial projects while ensuring work is completed to industry and safety standards. Key Duties and Responsibilities Interpret construction drawings and specifications to determine materials, dimensions, and installation requirements. Order, select, and prepare timber and building materials, including measuring and setting out project layouts. Cut, shape, assemble, and nail timber and other materials according to project specifications. Construct and install wall frameworks, roof framing, sub-flooring, and floorboards while checking structural accuracy and alignment. Install fascia panels, roof sheathing, external cladding, and fit door and window frames. Assemble prefabricated timber components and fittings ready for installation on-site. Measure and cut wood joints and other carpentry connections accurately. Construct and install concrete formwork where required. Repair and maintain existing structures, fittings, and fixtures. Work with a range of materials including timber, laminates, perspex, and light metals as part of construction and fit-out projects. Skills and Qualifications Required Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualification. Minimum 1 year of relevant carpentry experience. Strong understanding of construction methods, tools, and workplace safety requirements. Ability to read and interpret building plans and technical drawings.
