At Bateau Bay Medical Centre we are actively recruiting for a Casual Registered or Enrolled Nurse to join our dedicated team 3 days per week. We’re looking for experienced registered nurses/enrolled nurses with a passion for General Practice to build on their previous experience and be part of a growing health community, where a holistic and dedicated approach to comprehensive patient care continues to be our priority. In this role you will: Manage and comply with relevant Infection Prevention & Control Guidelines Have primary responsibility for Cold Chain Management Be responsible for reprocessing of reusable medical devices Maintain accurate documentation and manage recall/reminder systems, data and clinical software Manage inventory and ordering of medical supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels Deliver continuous quality improvement activities and initiatives through the review of systems and procedures to ensure efficient and accessible care Provide top-notch patient care, including vaccinations, wound care, infusions, and health assessments Assist in chronic condition management and deliver patient education Collaborate seamlessly with our multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care What will you bring? Current RN registration, Division 1 with APHRA/ EN registration Previous experience in general practice or primary care is highly preferred Strong communication skills with patient-focused approach Proficiency in performing general practice nurse duties, including immunisations, procedure assistance, wound care, and stock checking Nurse immuniser qualified preferred Experience with all types of Care Plans and Health Assessments, showcasing leadership in chronic condition management processes Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team Flexible availability to provide holiday cover when required Experience with Best Practice software or similar is an advantage.
