The Role Lead the delivery of stormwater and flood-focused urban development projects from concept through to detailed design Take ownership of design outputs including reports, calculations, models, drawings and technical documentation Work closely with clients, councils and internal multidisciplinary teams across a range of development projects Provide technical review and guidance to junior and mid-level engineers within the team Contribute to project management, coordination and overall delivery outcomes across multiple concurrent projects Support construction phase activities including RFIs and technical queries where required The Responsibilities Deliver stormwater management, flood risk and WSUD solutions across urban development projects Prepare and review DRAINS and MUSIC models along with associated engineering documentation Liaise directly with clients and stakeholders as a key technical contact throughout project delivery Coordinate with internal civil, water and multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth project outcomes Assist in the preparation of tenders, technical submissions and engineering reports Ensure designs align with council standards, authority requirements and relevant NSW planning frameworks The Requirements Around 7 years’ experience within stormwater, flood or urban water engineering within NSW Strong capability in DRAINS and MUSIC modelling, experience with TUFLOW, HEC-RAS or 12d highly regarded Experience operating in a client-facing capacity and managing project communication Knowledge of NSW planning pathways, council requirements and approval processes CPEng or working towards Chartership viewed favourably This is your chance to join a growing Sydney team, work on landmark projects, and fast-track your career in a supportive environment that values your input.
