As the business continues to scale, they are seeking a technically strong Financial Reporting Accountant with a background in business services, Big 4, or a complex corporate environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly financial results , including variance analysis and clear commentary for inclusion in Board and Executive reporting packs. Prepare statutory accounts (half‑year and full‑year) in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards and ASX reporting requirements. Prepare BAS and tax returns across income tax, FBT and payroll tax obligations. Review accounting outputs to ensure accuracy, compliance and alignment with corporate reporting standards. Support process transitions , including documentation, workflow mapping and integration into the broader reporting framework. Strengthen the financial control environment by enhancing processes, governance frameworks and key internal controls. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet tight reporting deadlines in a fast‑paced corporate environment. Prepare monthly drawdown statements and liaise with financiers to support treasury and funding requirements. Skills & Experience You will likely come from a financial services, financial services, Big 4/business services, environment and bring a mix of the following: CA / CPA qualified (or close to completion). Strong technical accounting and financial statement preparation experience. Exposure to FS, funds, or complex multi‑entity environments. Strong communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with stakeholders. A collaborative team mindset and the ability to thrive under deadlines. Systems‑savvy, with experience in process improvement or system enhancements highly regarded.
