Talent Focus is recruiting an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher for a bilingual Greek language program within a well-regarded Early Learning Center in south-east Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity for a VIT-registered Early Childhood Teacher who is fluent in Greek and passionate about delivering engaging bilingual learning experiences within a collaborative and innovative educational environment. About the Role Reporting to the Early Learning Coordinator, the Early Childhood and Language Teacher is responsible for the delivery of the kindergarten language program in Greek. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to support and enhance the educational program and will receive dedicated planning time to support effective program delivery. Key Responsibilities Deliver the Greek language program on a day-to-day basis in collaboration with existing teaching staff and within ELC policies and budget guidelines. Support the planning, implementation and evaluation of educational programs, with a focus on language learning and early childhood development. Develop and deliver high-quality inclusive programs based on observations, children’s interests, responses and developmental needs. Foster a nurturing, respectful and safe environment for children, families and colleagues. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions. Communicate effectively with families regarding the language program through discussions, displays, reports and newsletters. Apply best-practice principles to deliver innovative and responsive learning experiences. Uphold consumer rights, privacy, confidentiality and informed consent requirements. Respect and support the diverse needs of all children, families and community groups. About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: Fluency in Greek language. Passion for early childhood education and bilingual learning. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to collaborate effectively within a teaching team. A commitment to inclusive and child-centred educational practices. Essential Qualifications & Requirements Post-secondary qualifications in Teaching (Early Childhood qualifications and experience highly regarded). Post-secondary qualifications in a language other than English, formal language qualification, or statement of equivalence in speaking a language other than English. Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration. Current Victorian Working with Children Check. Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, Asthma and EpiPen training.
