Your Next Role Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will safely contribute to the Preventative Maintenance Strategy that Hyne deploys for its operational assets. This includes actively working towards eliminating asset failures, but also to effectively and efficiently execute corrective works when failures do occur. All our people go home in the same condition they came to work; safety before production. Maintenance and production teams are supported to identify and plan preventative and corrective tasks that improve the safety, reliability and functionality of the plant. A ‘be of service’ attitude and operating manner is shown in everything that you are involved in to support quality working relationships and deliverables. Maintenance and inspection work ensure electrical safety, asset reliability, materials and spare parts availability, condition and operating capacity. Proactive maintenance approach, where the efficient elimination of future failures is the goal. About you Electrical trade qualification with a demonstrated understanding of PLC and SCADA systems. Demonstrated understanding of Instrumentation Systems and Control. Ability to undertake PLC programming and fault-finding (Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi a distinct advantage), and AC drives and associated systems skills. Demonstrated experience in technical service delivery, planning and customer relations, preferably in the manufacturing industry. Ability to work a 24/7 or 24/5 rotating roster. Why Hyne Timber?
