Job Description Key Responsibilities· Design and deliver end-to-end solution architectures that align with Boeing enterprise standards, defence security requirements and business objectives. · Assess existing applications and platforms to define uplift, remediation, migration or retirement strategies. · Lead solution design for cloud and hybrid environments, with AWS as the target cloud platform. · Define migration approaches on an application-by-application basis (rehost, refactor, replace or retire), avoiding 'big bang' transformations. · Develop current and future-state architecture documentation, patterns and roadmaps. · Collaborate closely with engineering, product support, infrastructure, cloud, network and cyber security teams. · Design secure solutions that comply with the Information Security Manual (ISM), Boeing security standards and accreditation processes. · Provide architectural guidance and direction to delivery teams, vendors and system integrators. · Support remediation and modernisation programs across engineering and product support systems. · Participate in architecture governance reviews and manage compliance and waiver processes. The Successful Applicant Required Experience & Skills· 5- 7 years' experience as a Solution Architect, Systems Architect or similar role · Strong experience designing solutions in regulated or security-sensitive environments · Hands-on architecture experience across cloud and hybrid platforms, with AWS expertise highly desirable · Strong familiarity with the Information Security Manual (ISM) security framework · Experience assessing and modernising legacy applications · Solid understanding of enterprise integration and system interfaces · Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop pragmatic, compliant solutions · Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills · Australian Citizenship (mandatory for defence security requirements)Highly Desirable Experience· Aerospace, defence or similarly regulated industry experience · Background in engineering systems, PLM or complex product lifecycle environments · Experience with Oracle or SAP ERP ecosystems · Architecture certifications (e.g. TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect) · Experience working within Agile and DevOps delivery models What's on Offer Competitive daily rate Opportunity to work with a leading organisation in the defence and aerospace sector.
