The Role We are seeking experienced Machinery Operators to join a busy orchard in Wemen, VIC, supporting operations within the horticulture and almond harvest industry. This is a hands-on, outdoor role where you will operate a range of specialised machinery used during almond harvest. You'll work as part of a team to ensure efficient collection and processing of nuts, while maintaining equipment and supporting general farm operations. Key Responsibilities This role supports harvest operations through safe and efficient machinery operation and general farm tasks. Operate orchard machinery including shakers, sweepers, and bankout equipment Drive tractors and mules as required across the site Assist with basic machinery maintenance and checks Support irrigation, cleaning, and general farm duties Assist with quality assurance and manual labour tasks Follow all safety procedures and site requirements Benefits Competitive pay rate of $32.04 per hour penalty rates Short-term seasonal role for approximately 2 months Consistent work with approximately 40 hours per week Opportunity to operate specialised almond harvest machinery Work outdoors in a team-focused harvest environment Your Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, you will have experience operating machinery in an agricultural or similar environment.
