Were seeking a keen and reliable Quality Assurance Officer to join our team based at our Cannon Hill facility: Responsibilities will include but limited to: Monitoring, recording, verifying product specification requirements, and process/procedural compliance. This includes Conducting pre and post operational inspections to ensure room compliance. Inspection of product and process as per customer specifications Pest Control Monitoring Preventative & Corrective Actions ( Minimise non-compliance, waste, rework, downgrading of raw material, in process and finished products.) Preventative action on trends to non-conformance. Corrective action to prevent the further generation of non-conforming product maintaining control over production where required. Data collection where non-compliance has been identified to support investigations. Traceable information, photographs and products if required. Sample collection analysis & recording: Collection, analysis & recording of food safety & quality samples as per customer requirements and schedules. Pre-Operational swabbing of equipment, swabbing of personnel hands and gear. Conduct allergen swabs on equipment and machinery as per schedule Collection of shelf life/NIP samples as per scheduled requirements. To build strength and depth in company food safety, quality, animal welfare and environment knowledge To work in a safe way without adverse impact on people, the environment or food safety and quality. Requirements: Certificate II/III in Quality / Food Processing, have or able to commit to obtaining AUSMEAT creditation.
