You’ll work closely with the employees onsite and encourage our people to feel comfortable to raise safety concerns. You’ll partner with business leaders to understand how their respective team’s work and support them to take proactive steps to reduce environment risks and worker behaviours that may impact worker safety. Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Develop and implement HSE strategies to support risk reduction and HSE awareness. Design and deliver HSE training programs to support system implementation, skill development & risk reduction. Influence site management teams to drive KPI achievement and accountability. Assist in the development, implementation and accreditation of the ANZ HSE Management System that meet ISO 45001 and ISO 1400. Supporting RTW Coordinator in all RTW management activities and Team Member rehabilitation strategies and wellbeing programs. Run Site Safety Committee meetings and administer changes that follow up on employee concerns. Contribute to monthly toolbox talks and training sessions for employees About You: Minimum 3 years experience in a similar safety advisor role University Degree in related field or Diploma in WHS (Desirable) Demonstrated ability to coach, advise and influence colleagues with strong listening and collaboration skills Confident presentation skills to engage and inspire Exposure in manufacturing, engineering or operations based environments Knowledge & understanding of HSE legislation Knowledge & understanding of Workers Compensation, RTW legislation and claims management Who we are: From the depths of the ocean to the pinnacles of the world’s tallest buildings, Prysmian drives new forms of energy and information to each and every corner of the earth.
