If you bring energy, accountability, and a no-nonsense approach to achieving results where it matters most - on the floor and to the bottom line - we want to hear from you The Role: Retail Business Manager – Domestic & International We have a full-time, permanent opportunity for a Retail Business Manager - Beef to join our Commercial team based in Perth’s CBD office with travel to frequent domestic Customer meetings, as well as trips abroad to prioritised Export markets in Southeast & North Asia. This role has responsibility for overall Revenue and Margin delivery, as well as developing & maintaining world class customer relationships. Your key remit domestically will be to agree and flawlessly deliver executional plans across each key Retail partner that lands increased value for both our Customers and Harvest Road, so your commercial acumen and category skillset will be critical. Harvey Beef consumer brand strength is very strong, so converting to category value is the goal. You will also be tasked with developing & refining our Export commercial proposition for branded retail channels and product formats for Harvey Beef – both in core meat, as well as the snacking category. You will need Category Strategy & Management experience and expertise, along with a collaborative mindset to make happen with our preferred distributors in market. Key Responsibilities: Managing mutually beneficial business plans with our key Customer partners to drive Revenue and profit growth. Co-ordinate cross-functional alignment to our retail plans to ensure delivery of our critical KPI’s; DIFOT, Profit. Day-to-day management of Retail customer partners. Category planning including Range optimisation, Pack/Price/Promo architecture. Annual business planning and Budget planning cycle. Weekly/Monthly Business and Performance reviews. People management, both direct reports and cross functional teams. About You: Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in international business, marketing, commerce or equivalent/relevant field). 10 years of experience managing tier 1 Retail Customers. Category management and planning. Pack/Price/Promo architecture. People management and cross functional project leadership. Career-orientated mindset with desire for future professional growth. Strong interpersonal, presentation and influencing skills. Strong business acumen and analytical skills. Adaptability and comfortability working in a self-starter environment. Strong service-orientation and responsiveness to internal and external customer. Experience in the agricultural and/or food industry (desirable). International experience (desirable).
