Description We currently have an opportunity for an Asset Management Performance Analyst to join our Asset Management Technical Standards team and play a key role in setting, governing and continuously improving asset management standards that support safe, reliable and sustainable infrastructure outcomes. Reporting to the Lead, Asset Management Technical Standards, you’ll help deliver high‑quality outcomes that support our essential services across Australia. Location: Melbourne (preferred). Sydney or Brisbane are also highly considered for this role. What You’ll Do This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: Contribute to the development, implementation and ongoing governance of asset management technical standards, frameworks and best practices across diverse asset portfolios. Partner closely with operational, engineering and commercial teams to ensure standards are practical, consistent and aligned to organisational and regulatory requirements. Provide subject matter expertise across asset lifecycle activities, supporting informed decision‑making and continuous improvement. Review and assess technical documentation, asset data and assurance outcomes to identify risks, opportunities and improvement actions. Support a collaborative, inclusive culture by sharing knowledge, mentoring others and contributing to a strong community of practice. What You’ll Bring Demonstrated asset management experience, with exposure to technical standards, lifecycle management and asset performance. An engineering discipline (degree qualified or equivalent experience), with the ability to apply engineering judgement in complex asset environments. Trade or industry experience is highly regarded, particularly where it has built practical knowledge of physical assets and operational realities. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to influence, collaborate and build trusted relationships. Eligibility to obtain and maintain an Australian Government security clearance.
