About the role: As our Mental Health Clinician, based in our Ashfield office, you will provide high quality evidence-based, focused psychological interventions to young people aged 12 to 25 years, with demonstrated ability to engage and communicate effectively with young people and their family, friends or carers. The position is a Part-time role - 2 days a week; potentially more days. Based on site. Full, permanent Australian work rights are required Your responsibilities: - Liaise and work with relevant services including but not limited to, GPs, Psychiatrists, health services, Non-Government Organisations, schools and youth services - Ensure the efficient and consistent provision of person-centred services to young people, including adherence to relevant guidelines and procedures - Actively participate in service development, case review meetings, quality assurance activities and WH&S initiatives - Maintain patient records and statistical information - Opportunity to develop and facilitate therapeutic group programs About you: - Eligibility to provide psychological/counselling services under Medicare - Demonstrated experience in clinical practice, and in delivering contemporary, evidence-based practices and therapeutic interventions for young people - Commitment to delivering therapy services as an integrated part of a multidisciplinary team - Demonstrated ability to engage and communicate effectively with young people and their family, friends or carers - Degree in Psychology, Social Work or Occupational Therapy - Must be either a Psychologist with full registration (General or Clinical, not provisional ), Accredited Mental Health Social Worker or Occupational Therapist Pre-employment Checks: Current Police Check (issued within the last 3 months) Current NSW Drivers License NDIS worker Check (or willingness to obtain) NSW WWCC (or willingness to obtain) How to Apply: To register your interest, please click ‘Apply Now’ and let us have your resume and cover letter outlining your suitability for the role.
