Located near Ipswich, in southeast Queensland, the facility has a daily production ability of 3,400 cattle and employs approximately 2,300 people. Cattle are sourced from the finest cattle producing regions to produce a diverse range of pasture fed and grain beef products, from commodity to premium. Reporting to the respective Managers, these roles are responsible for ensuring production requirements are met safely and efficiently, while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, product quality, compliance and team engagement. Your key responsibilities will include: Lead, engage and support a diverse team to maintain productivity, safety and quality standards Ensure regulatory, customer and company requirements are met at all times Maintain a safe and healthy workplace, ensuring safe work practices are implemented and adhered to Ensure team members are adequately trained, competent and supported in their roles Supervise and manage employees in line with company values and the JBS Employee Handbook Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, regulatory bodies and inspection staff Complete required reporting, documentation and production records accurately and on time Monitor and maintain production, hygiene and compliance standards About You Previous experience in the meat industry is essential Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role is highly regarded Strong communication, interpersonal and delegation skills Demonstrated problem‑solving capability Knowledge of workplace health & safety and quality assurance Strong computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook) Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain a customer‑focused approach High attention to detail and the ability to work at pace Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment We have both day and night shift options available.
