Open to the public and grounded in hospitality with heart, this is an exciting opportunity to join a venue from the very beginning. We’re looking for a Casual Kitchen Hand (20–30 hours per week) to join our founding team. The role Availability: Must be available Thursday to Sunday (day and evening shifts) Working closely with our chefs and café team, you’ll play an important part in keeping the kitchen running smoothly and supporting high‑quality food service. You’ll help with: Dishwashing and maintaining a clean, organised kitchen Food prep and basic kitchen support Cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment and work areas Following food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards Supporting the team during service periods What we’re looking for A positive, reliable, and team‑focused attitude Ability to work in a fast‑paced kitchen environment Good understanding of cleanliness and food safety Willingness to learn and support others Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is great, but not essential Why join Heirloom?
